'I love it': Expat in the south of France shares the huge appeal of moving abroad ()

So far, it has been great; I don't have any real complaints. The people have been super friendly and you meet some English speakers too."</p><h3></h3><br/><img alt="Expat in France" class="rm-shortcode" data-rm-shortcode-id="6a083782fd5c84432fb1e8896a1688bb" data-rm-shortcode-name="rebelmouse-image" id="e9f31" loading="lazy" src="https://www.gbnews.com/media-library/expat-in-france.png?id=59275114&width=980"/><h3></h3><br/><div class="embed-latest"></div><p>Perpignan not only has sunny skies and a rich history but also brilliant connections to major cities across Europe.</p><p>Jeff explained: "It's a two-hour train ride to Barcelona, and three or four hours to Marseilles, so it is very accessible."</p><p>One of the biggest differences he noticed from life in America is the quality of the food he eats.</p><p>He said: "Everything is practically organic. It's not damaged, and the food quality here is beyond belief. The pricing is very reasonable too."</p><h3></h3><br/><div class="embed-dontmiss"></div><p>When stocking up on supplies, the expat has been told that many people make the short journey over to Spain. I started looking into ways to stay, and now work [here] as a teacher."</p><p>One of the main appeals the expat noticed was how safe Thailand is. Sidney said: "It is one of the safest places I’ve lived. There’s very little violent crime, and I never feel uneasy walking around, even late at night."</p>
