Expats: British teacher shares why she chose to live in the Middle East - 'I've always wanted to move away!'

Indeed, other Middle Eastern destinations like Qatar, Oman, Jordan, Bahrain and Kuwait are all less than two hours away by plane.</p><h3></h3><br/><p><br/></p><p>Further afield, Britons in Dubai can venture to India, Sri Lanka, the Seychelles and the Maldives on flights that don't even scrape the five-hour mark. </p><p>Revealing the "best" thing about her new life, Cora explained why it's a <a href="https://www.gbnews.com/travel/expat-tips-dubai-best-thing-weather" target="_blank">far cry from the UK</a>.</p><p>It's not difficult to understand why so many Britons are keen on Dubai.
