They also hinder cellular function.</p><p>Patrick explained: “Advanced Glycation End Products age you. Scientists have found glycotoxins in food with high fat, high protein and high temperature. Or take a long time to cook. </p><p>“You get more AGEs and they age you. They literally are a risk factor for Alzheimer’s, Cancer, Diabetes, and Sarcopenia.</p><p>"To protect your body from the deleterious molecules, Patrick advises steering clear of certain foods.</p><h3></h3><br/><div class="embed-dontmiss"></div><h3></h3><br/><p><br/></p><p>“At the top of the chart for AGEs is bacon. When you fry bacon you’ve got protein, fat, high temperature, and a lot of ageing factors in there. </p> <p>“At the bottom of the list is fresh produce.
